82.1% of Lemhi County residents old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 7,948 citizens living in Lemhi County in 2021, 82.1% were old enough to vote, equating to 6,528 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 3,388 were male, constituting 51.9%, and 3,140 were female, making up 48.1%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Lemhi County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 74.7%.
